Regular price $220.00

This hand-crafted hardback leather version of Frank Herbert's monumental masterpiece Dune (ISBN#978-0593099322) tells the story of a post-computer universe populated by ruling powers and specialized sects, all of whom are dependent on melange - a substance known as "spice". Because of the mind-altering effects of spice, "He who controls the spice, controls the universe." Dune follows the journey of a young Paul Atreides as he navigates this universe in moving to Arrakis where the spice originates, and his rise as the Kwisatz Haderach.

This rebinding in reddish brown goat leather with blue page edges evokes the desert (Arrakis. Dune. Desert Planet.) and the spice-tinged eyes of the Fremen who inhabit it. With illustrated endpapers of Arrakis at night, a two-tone metallic decoration on the cover, raised bands on the spine, and a navy and gold satin ribbon bookmark, this rebinding would be enjoyed by any Frank Herbert fan.
